Outcrop 4.1

Qs 263814 E

636632N

  • Tanjung Jaga.

  • This area is known as House of pegmatite.

  • There is the tafoni/honeycomb structure formed on the hornfel due to the chemical weathering by the sea water.

  • Inclusion of hornfel: Hornfel inside the younger pegmatite.

  • The pegmatite is not dyke type because the pegmatite is parallel to hornfel layer.

  • Fractures and joint can be found.

  • Exfoliation fractures also can be observed.

Outcrop 4.4.7

Qs 272081E

642619N

  • Banding hornfel with quartz vein.

  • Presence of fractures and joint.
