Fieldwork Management and Geo Field Camp is a module made compulsory for all 3rd Year 1st Semester Petroleum Geoscience students. This fieldtrip aims to enhance and polish students’ core geology field skills. The section of our study area is Jerai Formation which is located at Gunung Jerai, Kedah. This seven-days fieldwork was conducted on the 12th of February until 18th February, and involved the participation of 19 students, accompanied by respected Mr Askury Abd Kadir and technicians. Areas covered include Sungai Tupah, Sungai Tok Pawang, Sungai Batu Pahat and Sungai Ketapan. Road traversing which covers the area of Tanjung Jaga, Seri Perigi and Gunung Jerai Recreational Park was also done. Each stop shows variety of lithologies, geological structures and rock types.
